Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Complex was opened in 1963 by the Clark family from Lancaster County, Penn
sylvania. The Park started with 14 acres of land, four rides and 18 employees. Over the years, Dutch Wonderland expanded to include not only the family amusement park, but also DISCOVER LANCASTER COUNTY HISTORY MUSEUM, OLD MILL STREAM Campground and the Gift House at Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. In November, 2001 Dutch Wonderland Family Entertainment Complex was purchased by Wonderland Amusement Management LLC (WAM). Dutch Wonderland Family Entertainment Complex is owned and operated by WAM, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company.
